Anybody else beta testing credits on @classpass currently? Instead of having a set amount of classes per month, you have a set number of credits to spend however you want - the cheaper the classes the more you’ll be able to take with your plan. My favorite dance class @vixenworkout is only 5 credits, which means i could do 18 of them for the same price i used to pay for 10. Preemptive measures for the festive season, ya know? 🐽
Ok...this is, I think, the best breakfast I’ve *ever* had. Smashed butternut squash with poached eggs and pesto, plus crispy kale and buttery ciabatta (and heaps of Tabasco, cause I can’t eat a meal without it ). Definitely recreating this at home.

In yoga today it occurred to me that my brain focuses pretty much exclusively on the same three things day after day. Three pointless things that aren’t worth my time whatsoever. Last night at @maharosenyc I participated in my first proper breathwork circle and it was cray-zee. Amazing that you can experience such a spectrum of sensations inside the body - not to mention visions and revelations - simply by manipulating the breath. Also a humbling reminder of my control-freak tendencies. Every time I felt on the precipice of...something...I got scared and pulled back. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE UNKNOWN BIT??? #adventuresinwellness
If I’m honest with myself, I have a tendency to slack off when there’s nobody cheering me on to do one more rep / set / mile. So whoop! for @trainwithvi the lifelike AI personal trainer who knows exactly how hard I’m working and coaches me towards my fitness goals. I had a life-changing facial with @britta_beauty recently. To be specific, it was her signature Facial Attunement—a treatment that uses massage methods from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine to address the anatomy of the face, not just the skin that sits on top of it. Recently I did a social media detox, which was a huge feat for an addict like me. Getting off the apps felt like being invisible for a week. I completed some very overdue self-renovation and had a lot more headspace to write. Basically, I can't recommend it enough if you feel like your digital world - which is too crowded, too noisy, and too anxiety provoking - is affecting the quality of your real world. DO IT.

Healthy things I found at Burning Man: hooping, yoga, a Beyoncé dance class, a farmer's market, meditation, Thai massage and a marathon. I also found some not-so-healthy things, but that's a story for a different Instagram account.
My favorite form of cardio (after dancing, of course ) is rebounding - AKA jumping on a miniature trampoline. It's low impact on the joints while taxing the muscles, and it aids lymphatic drainage. Also bouncing makes you do a happy face, even when you're breathless and your heart feels like it might explode out your chest. Weeeeeeeeee 😊
Guys, there is such a thing as Cat Yoga and it is glorious. Glorious! Now where in NYC can I find a dog yoga class 🤔
