#tb back to Hocking Hills this summer.
Day 34: My last day. I woke up at a rest stop off the I-70 interstate. I pulled the curtains back and peered out my window to see the sun rising admist a soft rain. My last day included roughly 9 driving hours with a stop at Hocking Hills. I'd heard many accounts of its wonder and beauty, but never really considered it being a destination on my trip. I could have made it back to PA in 6 hours that day. However, I decided Hocking Hills was well worth the 3 hour detour. One more adventure before I go home. One more wonder to witness. By the time I reached the park, the rain subsided and the humidity blanketed the air. The sun shined brightly, but the gorge offered sanctuary from its hot rays. This was my first view once I entered the gorge. I spent a few hours exploring and having lunch in Old Man's Cave. Afterward, I enjoyed a luxurious sink bath in the parks restroom facilities. I hopped back in the van and started off to Pennsylvania with my heart full. To the road, my unknown legend, until next time my friend. 9k in 34 days. . . . #vanlife #roadlife #vanlifediaries #vanlifeexplorers #crosscountryroadtrip #wanderlust #cowgirlinthesand #hockinghills #atleastohiohasthis
